Thoughts on Friday Night Games?

Texas lost and Notre Dame is losing I’m feeling pretty full right now!

 
Well in Australia it was an 11:00 am Saturday kickoff that I got to watch live, so, I'm not complaining.

Of course, I realize my circumstances are a bit unusual.

 
Not a fan, daughter on the cheer team, so I go watch the HS team to watch her cheer. Maybe in a year when she's done with HS, I'll have a different feeling about it, but not a fan right now.

 
I generally think Friday's are for HS, but it's nice having a full Saturday to not have to worry/commiserate/vent on social media about whatever is grinding my gears regarding Husker football. Makes watching other games a bit more enjoyable. 

 
They should make a movie about it.... Oh wait they did.    And Fridays should be a HS night only!!

Ha...well done!

I do think there is like this odd idea that everyone is out watching HS games on a Friday.  For the most part I don't think I know one person that goes to a high school game on a Friday night anymore.  

If you live in a small town I can imagine a lot of people going, even if they don't have kids on the team.
