Three Good Minutes

Just watched this again, and the extreme value of another blocking back in the backfield jumped out at me. Watch Legate at the 2:26 mark. That play seemed strung out, going nowhere, when I watched it live, then Helu just darted up the sideline, barely getting touched. Legate knocked down two Jayhawks and impeded a third when he barreled into their defenders, and Helu was gone. Without a blocking fullback on that play I don't think that play goes anywhere.
