LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Three incoming UCLA football players have been arrested on suspicion of felony theft.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department records show Joshua Shirley, Shaquille Richardson and Paul Richardson -- all 18-year-old freshmen -- were arrested on the UCLA campus Wednesday, booked at a county jail and released early Thursday morning.

Shaquille Richardson and Paul Richardson posted $20,000 bail each and Shirley was released without posting bail, the records showed.

A UCLA police watch commander said Saturday he has no immediate information on the arrests or the alleged crimes.

Shaquille Richardson is a cornerback from Los Alamitos, Paul Richardson is a wide receiver from Gardena, and Shirley is a linebacker from Fontana.

A phone message left for a UCLA football spokesman was not immediately returned.

they are in some deep kaka!!!

Owa...bad decision mon frere.
:laughpound @ UCLA

where ever RN goes trouble seems to follow......

Of the three names listed. Josh Shirley was a last minute surprise and a good 4 star pickup on signing day. Memory is a little fogging but I remember something about him from when I watched the signing day shows. I think he decommitted from USC last minute and went with Slick Rick on signing day. Think about it if that is true. Out of all the schools in the country, he choose between UCLA and USC. The UCLA decision may turn into a real bad choice since he found himself involved with the wrong crowd and if he went to USC, that would of been a real bad choice since they are on a two year probation. What are the odds?

edited: found this article that talks about them a little more. http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news/sports/college/football&sa=NCF&eid=5332135

Shirley, a linebacker from Kaiser High School in Fontana, was an especially coveted recruit who flirted with attending Southern California before signing on with coach Rick Neuheisel and the Bruins in February.

In January he recovered a blocked field-goal try and raced 77 yards for a touchdown to help give the West a victory over the East at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Shaquille Richardson was a cornerback who attended Los Alamitos High School and Paul Richardson was a wide receiver at Serra High School in Gardena.

Mark Schlabach and Ivan Maisel are both reporting on twitter that Neuheisel kicked these guys off the team.

Not to worry; I understand Neuheisel is going to send them to USC where Lane Kiffin is going to personally instruct them in the finer points of ethical conduct! :corndance
