is the university going to sell tickets or do we have to go through Cowboys, looking at tickets through the cowboys there pretty rich unless you get nosebleed

Doesn't surprise me, Jerry's World has a huge mortgage to pay off. I don't think the university will be selling tickets. If they do I'm sure it'll be some package deal with hotel and transportation?

The University will get an allottment of tickets. But a few weeks ago season ticket holders send in applications to reserve tickets if the Huskers make it. If there are tickets remaining, they should go out to the general public.

The university will not have any tickets remaining. They sent out a letter a couple weeks ago to the season ticket holders that did not get tickets in the allotment if we were to win yesterday. I got the letter. Good thing I bought tickets the day they went on sale through ticketmaster. Your best bet is stubhub or similar sites.
