Four-Star Recruit
I haven't seen anyone post about this yet- NU received surprise commit from Transfer portal RB Tikey Hayes.
3 to 4 star coming out of HS in PA. Had something like 7k yards in HS and over 55 touchdowns. Had offer from PSU after his freshman year.
Was recruited and very loyal to James Franklin but more importantly his great Uncle is Terry Smith.
I did not hear why he left PSU when Campbell came in- especially since he retained Smith.
He didn't commit anywhere- the podcasts I listened to seemed to feel that he wasn't being offered enough NIL. That is why he ended up @ Iowa Western.
He is the same size as Mozee- 5 11 and 205. He is felt to have above average speed. He is a power back - not shifty in the mode of Emmitt Smith.
He had 3 carries last season @ PSU.
It would appear that he would be competition for Kwinten Ives as a bigger power back.
Felt to be odd, since Makai Nelson just had charges dropped and should be @ NU to start the season, but may be suspended ala Marcus Washington.
