For an 11 am kickoff, the whistles will sound
With Mack Brown and the Longhorns coming to town
A titanic clash of powers will meet Saturday
For control of the conference the two will play
This should be the first meeting for these two remember
They'll likely meet again in the month of December
"Not so fast my friend" as Corso would chime in
The defending national champs just may not win
The Blackshirts will give UT little relief
As they try to turn Bevo into ground beef
Colt McCoy is in control and slingin' his gun
But let's be real...he's a kid, not Vince Young
Trying to throw it to his favorite target Sweed
'OOOOohhhh Carriker hit him so hard that he peed'
Jamaal and Selvin give UT a one-two punch
But they'll have to deal with our linebacking bunch
Texas comes in with a number 5 ranking
It's not impossible to hand them a spanking
QUADZILLA will handle most of the work for NU
Running up big yardage like the old days - it's true
Which one will start? Who's coming in next?
The endless pounding will leave UT's defense perplexed
Expect to see Zac dump some short passes here and there
When they try and stop that he'll send one through the air
To Nunn, Swift and all 4 TE's he is sure to throw
And send a jump ball to the 6'6" one called "Big Mo"
A historic game with two teams of 800 wins
If a true fan misses this game it is truly a sin
Sports Bars and homes should be ready by 9
If you are drunk by 10 - well that is just fine
ESPN is missing out, they give no respect

This is the national game everyone wants to see
But go ahead and pump up the piss poor ACC
Can the Huskers pull off their major upset bid?
Fans are excited for this like Christmas for a kid
