Titus' Twist, 10/11
Here's the latest twist from NU junior defensive tackle Titus Adams:
On how tough it is to forget such a lopsided defeat and move on: "You have to. If you dwell on a game like this, it's devastating to the team and the program. It was a pretty tough loss, but you have to get over it, otherwise it'd be hard to play the next game 100 percent."
On the frustration for the defense in the second half when Tech scored 49 points, aided by Husker turnovers: "What was discouraging was in the fourth quarter when they were down there a few times and we could have stopped them a couple times and held them to a field goal."
On if any Huskers cashed it in when the game was decided: "I don't think anyone gave up. There's no quit in this team. There's a lot of football left."
On if anyone on the team stepped up vocally Sunday and addressed the poor performance: "Barrett (Ruud) stepped up and said a couple things. You just have to hold your self accountable and not settle for things happening that you know you aren't doing right."
