were fairly good, I thought. Pretty fair, didn't have a pre-set list of talking points to force on the game, but let the game come to them. My only minor complaint was Spielman saying "Sparty" all the time seemed un-professional. Seemed to make an effort to figure out how to pronounce names.

 
These two were better than a lot of others I've heard, but still not good by any stretch of the imagination.

 
I usually like Spielman but he didn't quite seem the same to me today. Not bad, just not as good as usual.

Love it. Most MSU fans hate being called "Sparty". Kind of like us and "Big Blue".

Whoops. Shouldn't have admitted that.

 
Now that you mention it, I never openly mocked the announcers during the game for saying something dumb or obvious. They must have been ok.

 
Meh. They were okay I guess. Even though they spent about half the game hanging on Sparty's nutsack.

 
Play-by-play kept patting himself on the back for proper pronunciation of Jean-Baptiste and Enunwa, but then kept calling Taylor "Martiniss"...was driving me nuts. They fumbled JP's name, too. As far as everything else, they seemed fair.
