Tom Herman Says Suh Should Have Won Heisman

It's funny to see the bammer's get mad in Ubben's mentions.

"boo hoo, nobody wants to see us win"

Well....one hell of a lot of people knew Suh should have won.

Just not the voters because all they look at are QBs, RBs and WRs from the best teams.

What a sham.

Does anyone know the context of that statement by Herman? That's pretty out-of-left-field for him to say on a random Tuesday, but it's great that he recognizes that Suh was, without question, the best football player in the country that year.

I think it had something to do with a question about him being the OC at ISU in 2009 (the year they beat us b/c we gave them the ball 7 times).

Pretty sure we had 8 TO. The worst game ever
7, 8, 9, whatever

Was at that game it was a surreal nightmare. ISU had like 140yards of total offense, NU had like 400. The fumble on the catch by Niles Paul was so incredibly wierd and crazy that all you could do was laugh. I kept thinking that they have got to call are players knee down on one of these fumbles sometime, and they never did.

Unfortunately this says a little something about our program recently if this is what is being talked about by other coaches this many years later.

But yeah, Suh should've won the Heisman.
