Tomorrows annoucers

I'm a fan of it. Those are the primetime announcers for saturday night games so ABC thinks its a big game as well.

Still want a Gus Johnson/Bill Raftery game though

Raftery only does college basketball. Gus Johnson does both but also happens to rule when he does football. Would love for him to do a Husker game. Brad Nessler would rule too.

I'll take Herbie and Musburger. Nebraska's announcers have been horrible this year.

I'm with you. I never thought I'd say I'd be happy to take the Ohio State Ken Doll and Northwestern Cadaver broadcast team, but like you said...our announcers have been atrocious this year.

I'll never like Musbuger, though.

 
I don't mind these two. Herbie has respect for Bo and is usually pretty complimentary towards Nebraska. Mushburger I could do without though. Still a better crew than what we have had to deal with.

 
I can't stand Muchburger, but Cunningham is even more anti Nebraska. At least Mushburger will speak with some excitement in his announcing, "they won't catch him Touchdown Nebraska!! Martinez!!". Much better than a guy who talks like if he opens his mouth his false teeth are gonna fall out.

Further evidence that gameday screwed the pooch on this one. Gameday from Wrigley Field????

Herbie and Musburger usually do the game that is attached to Gameday. Why are they going to be in

Texas tonight then? Herbie has to catch a plane and join Musburger in Texas.

The storylines for today's game are there, they even did a nice fluff piece on Tannehill today. He is ex WR, and is their

punter, extra point holder.

Too bad NU will have to dominate them today. Hopefully Musburger doesn't refer to the extra second more than 3 times.

Who wants to make a bet with me...

I'll bet anyone that at some point tonight, Brent Musberger will mention something about Colt McCoy.

For double or nothing, he'll also say something along the lines of "and did you know, that Colt McCoy and Shipley were roommates?"

 
I am not taking that bet. I bet he mentions on how smart Cleveland is for taking Colt in the 2nd round. Question is, no one will call him out for talking about a Texas Longhorn player during this game. It is just so sad.

 
Get ready for good ole boy Mushberger. He will be bringing the twang! Over/Under for Colt McCoy references is 3. I'm taking the over BTW. :nanalama
