Top 10 grudge matches of 2010

I like all he pub that this game is getting with everyone thinking that this is "the game" for Nebraska. But you know the more pub it gets the more Bo has them focusing on the entire season at hand, not just this game.

 
Nebraska would like nothing more than to finish its final season in the Big 12 with a victory over the Longhorns, which would be the Huskers' first over UT in the regular season since 1974.

This statement bothers me, if he wants to say that NU is 1-8 against UT since the start of the Big 12 that's fine, it sucks balls, but it's true. With the way he worded this it would be easy for an uninformed reader to assume that NU has been playing a regular series with UT over that span, when in reality before 1996 NU hadn't played in Austin in 22 years. And even since that time NU has only played in Austin 3 times. Sure 0 for 3 is far from a stellar record, but it's certainly isn't the decades long drought that he makes it out to be. Come on Schlabach show a little perspective.

Edit: Looking closer I see he actually said NU hasn't won in the regular season, not in Austin since 1974. But I still say a gap that long should be considered when talking about a teams winless streak.

I hate to admit it. But UT has owned us in the B12. 1-8. What else can you say? 10/16 is the time for us to exorcise old demons.

 
You know what, sinjce the Big 12 started, NU has not truly been at it's finest. Sucks we won't see a really tough Husker team in coming years battle OU / Texas for the title, cause i think the Huskers are going to be tough for the forseeable future and this game in Lincoln gonna end up a close Husker win IMO...

Yeah I think we were -1 seconds away from winning. But hey why is this a grudge match? We don't have a grudge against them, do we? :LOLtartar
