IT WAS OVER WHEN...Nebraska stepped onto the field. The Huskers were looking for their 800th all-time win; they got it against an overmatched K-State squad.

GAME BALL GOES TO...Zac Taylor. Nebraska's signal caller completed 12-of-21 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown. Marlon Lucky chipped in 71 yards and a TD on 12 carries.

STAT OF THE GAME...2: Nebraska wasn't overpowering, but it did the little things right: The Huskers controlled the ball, didn't turn the ball over and were called for just two penalties.

Up Next: No. 21 Nebraska vs No. 6 Texas (Oct. 21). Kansas State at No. 19 Missouri (Oct. 21).

I think i have to disagree on who gets the game ball, entire "D" deserves it and for the stat of th game "Nebraska wasn't overpowering"...WTH, our defense was extremley overpowering, offense was sluggish parts of the game, but the D never let up!

 
EPSN probably just looked at the stats and not the game film at all. How was the D not over-powering?? They held them to 22 rushing yards total after what's his name had 150+ yards the game before.

 
My game ball would go to Welsh and Teafatiller for their fake field goal touchdown pass. Huge way to start the game for the Huskers.

 
:yeah I think if it was at Texas I would be really worried!!!! However; they have to come to our house so I'm pumped about that!!! :woo
 
Lincoln is as tough a place to win as there is for a visiting team in the country. Our fans and atmosphere should be enough to push us over the top and BEAT THE WHORENS
