36. Bill Callahan, Nebraska – Slowly, Callahan is turning skeptics into believers.  Now, he still has a ways  to go in his extreme makeover of the Husker program, but you can see his vision beginning to take shape.  Callahan is in this adventure for all the right reasons and his West Coast offense will prove to be a good fit for the college game.  He’s indefatigable and passionate about the sport and the kids he’s coaching, which is probably why he’s been cleaning up in the area of recruiting ever since arriving in Lincoln.          Two-Year Record: 13-10 (1-0 in bowl games)

Two-Year Record Before He Arrived: 17-10 (1-1 in bowl games)

Where's FF and Benard? This thread would be more interesting, IMO, if Benard or FF would enlighten us on whether BC deserves the #36 ranking!

Actually, I haven't see a response in a thread from them in ages....especially FF. Where are you FF? I actually liked FF's posts. He did, at least, back-up his opinions with stats and facts, so I wish that he would respond more; and, he made some valid points at times.

Personally, I think BC is a godsend for the program. We went through a painful transistion from a running attack to WC style of play; but, I believe that Cally and co. have turned the program around and we're primed to compete against the top teams again! Watch that ranking increase after this season! Top 20 coach, IMO.

he's number one in our hearts. and that's all that matters.

Despite how I feel about Cally (and that's that I think he should be up there higher, cuz I'm a homer ;) ) But he needs to be in the NCAA as a head coach longer and earn his trip up the ladder. It's only fair.

My thoughts also

Yeah he is starting to prove that he is a good coach but he does need to keep the ball rolling so to speak to prove that he is a top 10 coach. But, I still love the guy. :worship

You can't argue with his placement on the list, he really hasn't done anything significant yet. Maybe he can break the top 20 if we win the north this year.

give Billy C a few more years to get everything together and he will no doubt be in the top 20. he will look good there wearing a few big 12 title rings!!!.... :horns2
