Big deal, there are plenty of coaches who pull the rug out from under incoming players so big whoop.

Obviously something went array there and I think both sides are at fault but come on, if he isn't on the team right now then I don't think we needed him that badly. Good luck to the kid but come on, he's over and done with.

I don't understand why people are making a big deal out of this. People loose scholarships ALL THE TIME. Not to mention, this guy was even injured. I have several personal friends that lost their full-ride scholarships to school due to injury (track, soccer, and basketball). Its just part of the game.

its not ok when a school does it, but it is ok when a recruit does it??? it happens all the time, its a rat race on both sides, if NU did not believe that this kid warrants a scholly then they had every right to pull it.
