Trev Leaving UNO???

No surprise if he does. I would think he eventually wants to get to a D1 school to be an AD, maybe something smaller, then eventually move up to a larger school in the future. And of course, I would think his dream job would be AD at Nebraska in the end. JMO.

I don't think I'd want him to be AD at Nebraska..

He may try and get rid of our football program...

I don't know UNO athletics from Adam, but from everything I've heard, UNO HAD to cut some programs to continue. At a place like Nebraska where your athletic department can make a profit the decisions aren't quite as hard. I don't think Trev got rid of sports cuz he wanted to, he unfortunately had to in order to make ends meet. He will move on from UNO to a d1 school and will work his way up to a large d1 school in the future. He's plenty smart enough to do it. Whether he ends up at Nebraska or not is yet to be seen. But with more experience and longer in the tooth I think with his passion for Nebraska he will and should end up there eventually.

Now he might be getting a raise to stay!!!
I haven't heard anything about a raise. Heard the rumblings yesterday and at the time there was no official word but a rumor there might be an announcement today or Friday.

In my honest opinion I was shocked when he was selected. I didn't think he had the background to do the job well. . . but he's done much much better than I thought he would and made some really tough calls. He didn't handle them as well as he probably should have but honestly unless you're in that moment yourself, you don't really know whats the best way to handle it. And you can always look back and say I should have done this or that better. That's part of regrets.

Of course I don't pretend to be even remotely interested in UNO or whats happening there. If it weren't for his name and Husker football I probably wouldn't care except the fact that they might grab Paul Meyers from under Tom who is one of the two guys who should probably be considered when TO retires.
