I thought he already told Mickey he was staying for next season. Was pretty certain I read or heard that somewhere from a press conference. Maybe I'm wrong.

I never expected him to stay.  It would be crazy not to enter the draft.  He would have beat the record by a mile if not for the Thompson injury.
