With a valiant effort but close loss this week against Texas, Nebraska would appear to be a fairly attractive choice for the Cotton Bowl, which is played in Cowboys Stadium (just like the Big 12 Championship game).

Trivia: When was the last time a team played two consecutive non-home games in the same stadium, during the same season (so you can't count Clemson playing in the Georgia Dome to end the 2007 season and to begin the 2008 season)?

Possible, although unlikely I would think. Certainly an extremely rare occurrence at the very least.

Yup, that's the most recent one I could come up with. Although it would've been a much cooler trivia if your Legion Field answer was right.
