Tunnel Walk

I believe in seeing every second of 60 minutes of a Husker game.

But, I'm taking my son to the CU game and want to go to the Husker Tunnel walk.

Is there sufficient time to get from there to your seat before kickoff?

Of is it better to watch it on the big screen?

I try to show up about an hour before the game, mainly because you have to fight for a good student section seat, and you can watch the scarlets perform.

I try to be there about 20-30 minutes before kickoff so that I can get exciting while the band plays the fight song and other stuff.

To answer your question...it is better to be in your seat and watch it on the screen....but moreso to be in the stands with the fans. The tunnell is down underneath. It's much more impactful, louder and goose-bump raising to be standing with 80,000 others going nuts.

It really depends on where your seats are... When the walk was in the South stadium, I could take my son/daughter to see the walk and still make it to the top of South stadium before kickoff.....but now that it is in North Stadium, I don't even try to make it !!! I just set in my seat and take in the emotion....

If you take in something else....ask the old lady to move her hand before you sit down. :thumbs
