Then its time to start looking for a new DC and assistants.

I wholeheartedly agree. These kids have done nothing to deserve their shirts.. and who was it last week that took his away from himself?

The blackshirts are supposed to be a reward for excellence on the field.. not let's just give one to every starter.

Would be nice, but unfortunately you just can't do that during the season. Though, it better happen this off-season, and hopefully with a new DC!

I think something is wrong with the chemistry between players or players and coaches because these stats keep getting worse. At this rate teams should be putting up over 1000 yards on us at the end of the season on our defense.

my question is this? what's the difference between this year and last? carriker for one, but john blake is gone too.

did blake really have that much of an impact on defense? or are the coaches and the players on D just that inept?

Ahh yes, the one player that recognizes that our defense doesn't deserve to be called the blackshirts, and unfortunately he was out this week. I wonder if we would have played a little better with him on the field, mostly for motivational/leadership reasons?

 
I'd like to think so, but who knows. I like Bowman and he gets even more respect from me for removing his Blackshirt. It's just hard to imagine anyone hanging 600+ yards on us in Memorial.
