Turner Out For The Year Per OWH

Barry Turner is telling teammates on the NU sideline that his injury is a fracture and that he's out for the year.
The senior defensive end left the game in the first quarter. He's sitting on the bench with a boot on the lower portion of his left leg.

Turner, a senior in his second season as a starter, is eligible for a medical redshirt this year.

Looks like Pierre Allen, who has played well today, just got a lot more important to the Nebraska defense.

That's not good news, but Pierre did okay.

 
Oh boy. That's tough for Turner. He was really excited and on his way to a good season. Let's hope he can return to form next year.
