Rittenberg was on 1620 earlier and one reason he is excited for Nebraska to join the Big 10 is because it gives the conference a big dog in the hunt. Right now Ohio State is the only constant challenger for the MNC. Michigan could get back there along with Penn State while Iowa and Wisconsin might make a run for it every four or five years. He said Nebraska is one of the elite recruiting programs and that should help keep them on the stage more often than not.

Grew up a Cal guy, but went to NW for journalism (i'm guessing you heard of them). Chicago guy now and Big Ten through and through
