UCF Golden Knights vs Maryland

That was a really big win for Scott Frost and his Central Florida program.  That is definitely a type win that helps Frost's case for being the next Nebraska head coach.

Between UCF's performance on the field and what I heard, I doubt we could convince Frost to come here.  He wants to build something at UCF and he's got a good start.  If Nebraska really wants him they'll need to appeal to his Husker loyalty and point to what dire straights we are in.

And Nick Saban wanted to build something at LSU before he left for three nfl, and he wanted to build something at the dolphins before he left for Bama.

It's basically in Frosts job description to say he wants to be at UCF. It's politically correct coach speak. Jjust like its in Rileys job description to say nice things about whoever the new AD is, even if in the back of his mind he thinks the new AD is going to fire him..... All that said, we're still a long long way from firing Riley or hiring Frost.

For a little perspective, Maryland is a different team with their first and even second string quarterback in the game.  I am not suggesting they are a good program, but the offense this year actually was a tough matchup with one of their mobile quarterbacks.  With Bortenschlager, the Terps actually had their 4th string QB and the offense is pathetic. That said, UCF did a great job and this was a good win for Frost.
