Ultralight Backpacking

Anyone know where a guy could find some decent lightweight backpacking/camping gear that won't break the bank? Doesn't have to be top-of-the-line stuff, decent and affordable is what I'm after.

Looking for tents, sleeping pads, stoves, cookware ect.

I guess shopping around would be the way to go, just wondering if anyone had any insight into where to start.

Sierra Trading Post is pretty great. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/
Also, if you want to go really cheap you can make a pretty serviceable penny stove with beer cans and an hour of work. http://www.jureystudio.com/pennystove/stoveinstruct.html

I buy most of my stuff off Campmor.com. Their prices are usually pretty reasonable.

Could look at hammocks instead of a tent. I don't backpack but have been looking at getting an Eagles Nest Outtfitters setup to try this summer to keep in my Jeep for when I'm out but not at my cabin.
