UNC/Duke

Damn it. 3 in a row now. Duke always seems to start out on fire and cool off and go on a long dry streak. They just don't have a go to guy this year. Very young team 0 seniors, 1 jr. ( at least decent players), mostly soph. and fr.

And yes, it is the best rivaly in All of Sports.

 
It isn't like UNC is old though. They may have a younger team than duke does. I agree they don't have a go to guy right now. I don't know why but I always want to blame paulus (sp)?. It was still a good game. I love the atmosphere of that game. That is what is missing in many pro sports. The passion people like the sea of red and the cameron crazies have. Stuff like that never gets old.

 
I've told my wife that I have to go see a game at Cameron Indoor before I die (hopefully while I can still enjoy the standing and yelling)....if it could be against UNC that would be perfect. However I better start saving now for those seats!!!

 
I look up prices last summer for last nights game, and they started at $1200 for two seats. And that would of probally been up above the student section.

I agree that Duke needs a go to guy. McRoberts needs to just stay on the block. He could score on just about anyone down there if he wanted to but he likes to play on the perimeter and not look for his own shot.

The last five minutes was typical from a young team. Terrible offense, the guards looked scared, no one wanted to step up and be that go-to guy. Sloopy defense and poor management of the clock.

The future does look bright for this team as they will have everyone back next year plus three more highly touted freshman to join the squad.
