It's an interesting fact, but not sure it says anything that besides in 10+years the recruiting services got a some guys wrong.

Just looking at averages according to this list there are about 3-4 guys each year that turn out pretty good.

Another unranked guy from a few years back is Matt Slauson. Totally under the radar for recruiting purposes. I remember when we signed him, I was like, "Who??" And now he's been in the NFL for five seasons.

 
I am not sure if it's totally fair to review college recruiting services based on their NFL success. A number of those guys weren't all that special in college, were drafted low, and have since done well in the NFL.

If I am a college football fan, looking at how a prospective recruit will perform, all I care about is how that recruit performs for my school. Yes, it's nice if they also have a good NFL career, but I care more about how they do in a Nebraska uniform.
