You just knew this was coming.
Approximately a nanosecond after word first leaked Monday that Bruce Pearl had been fired as Tennessee’s men’s basketball coach, media folks on Twitter lit up the social media website with some variation of the theme “Jim Tressel, you’re next.”

With the info that came out today Tressel has to be gone. I hate to see this happen because I think the NCAA is a bunch of money grubbing a-holes that doesn't do much to improve the sports they dictate too. 5 players sold some of their personal possessions or traded them for tats. How much revenue do they help generate for O(hio State directly and the NCAA in-directially? How much does the NCAA make off of the BB Tourney? I know these student/athletes get scholarships but when you look at football and basketball college is basically providing a farm system for the NFL/NBA and contrast it against baseball that has its own farm system. These kids at least deserve date and gas money.
