At first I thought he could have been first team. But then I see JJ Nelson has four KO Return TDs and averaged 38+ yards per kick return while averaging 10+ yards per punt return. DPE averaged 17+ yards per punt return with 3 TDs and 14+ yards per KO return.

DPE wins returning punts. Nelson wins returning kicks. Pretty close overall.

Congrats DPE! That is so incredible. What an accomplishment for a FR. He earned and deserved it. We don't beat Iowa without him, and he shifted some momentum and hope in the MSU game too. So glad he a Husker!
