USC Spread

10 point spread, what the heck about the over/under of 46. Does that mean someone thinks they might score 46 on us?

I'm sure that Mark May is pissed that the odds makers even put a spread on the game.

If i'm right, the over under 46 means they think 46 total points will be scored but you can wager wether or not it will be more or less.

 
It means they think USC is about 14 pts better on a nuetral field and we get 3 pts for being home. That seems like an accurate spread. Remember its not based on what they actually think the difference will be but rather what will cause people ot bet evenly. I thought a good performance by us would have made an 8 pts spread. Good line, if we can score then we will cover. The over is easy if we can score 14 or more b/c USC will score 27+

USC was a very big favorite over UCLA last year also, and they didnt even score as many points as what the spread was

 
I think we need to score 30 to win the game. We gave up 20 easy pts to Wake and I think USC can get 27. If we hold them to 24 pts then we can win the game. I don't see us keeping them to a low score. And UCLA is a huge rivalry game and I think that does matter.
