USC's WCO verses NU's WCO

USC for one. Link:http://eaglesfootball.com/college/palmer/qa2.php

Call them what you want, but apparently NUs and USCs offenses are totally different then, because USC uses primarily a 2 back set, and NU primarily the I-set.

Thanks for clearing that up and proving my point  :thumbs
You actually had a point? Which point was that? The one i asked you to provide proof ANY OTHER TEAM other then USC AND AUBURN that run a 2 back set don't run a WCO offense and you go and provide me a link to a article about carson Palmer? Correct me if i am wrong, but Carson played for USC didn't he?

I never said that under Chow that USC runs a simplified version of the WCO, I said he installed a system that was much easier to install and run in college football then the WCO
Actually, Ive provided proof from a player that played in a WCO system and a much more simplified system
A much more simplified system to what? The WCO? The spread offense? The triple option. You said he "simplified it"

Simplified definition: made easy or uncomplicated

Simplify: make simpler or easier or reduce in complexity or extent

(link)

What proof do you have that what Norm Chow simplified it to isn't a easier and more understandable watered down version of the WCO ? If you say he simplified it, are you saying Carson was dumb because he didn't get it? If the guy is dumb, he shouldn't be playing in the pro's right?

The point that Chow made everything simpler for Palmer as eluded to in that article is moot because it took Carson Palmer about 16 games to finally get Chow's watered down system. If it was so much simpler than before, why would a 4th year Junior regress for a season in the system before moving forward?
I wont disagree with you that practice makes perfect, but the article that FORMERFAN posted then negates out that whole idea. You don't go from having the 28th best total offense in 2000 to 94th in total offense in 2001 and then improve all the way to 8th in 2002 (that's an improvement of 86 spots). It not only showed Carson was struggling with it, but Norm Chow needed to figure out how to make it more easier to understand after watching his QB struggle the entire previous season. Correct?

EXACTLY! :thumbs

USC runs it 80% of the time. What Nebraska and USC are doing is a carbon copy of each other, except USC is loaded with more talent right now.
<formerfan dusts off obscure 5 year old article with Carson Palmer supposedly saying USC doesn't use the WCO>

Brace yourself :thumbs
How about we just call it the offense that WIN'S games when excecuted properly -
