Use of profanity in the status updates

I think it makes the board look like a bathroom. You call up the site and the first thing you see is 'My F..ing bracket is F'd'. Or, 'gonna get sh...tfaced tonight'. I like the fact that the woodshed is there....use it.

JMO.

 
If you're using a word that the board filters out, it's best not to use that word. Pretty simple stuff.

If you feel the need to blow off steam, use the Woodshed. That's what it's for.

 
LOL seems to be the least sincere one. I doubt people actually LOL as often as they claim to. And what the f#*k is up with IMO, anways? Of course it's your goddamned opinion, I don't need a disclaimer.

The other day I updated my status which I stole from Ray Williams Johnson Facebook status which read:

"You guys are lucky I poop. Otherwise, I'd probably never check Huskerboard at all"

That status was taken down so I changed the wording from poop to bathroom. Was the status immature? Sure. Was it funny? I thought so. Did I think poop would be an unacceptable word to post as a status update? Absolutely not cause.

So its wrong to have poop in a status but several statuses having "f#ck" or "sh#t" is more acceptable???
