From journalstar blog:
Two of a kind ... and a first
Among over 100 elite players at a Nebraska volleyball camp last week, recent eighth-grade graduates Amber and Kadi Rolfzen stood out. And after today's news, the Rolfzen twins from Papillion will be in the spotlight for years to come.
Gwen Egbert, the head coach of Papillion-La Vista South, confirmed to the Journal Star on Thursday afternoon that the incoming freshmen told NU coach John Cook this week that they will be Huskers in 2013. They are the youngest players to ever commit to NU in volleyball and are believed to be the youngest to say yes to the Huskers in any sport.
"Athletically, they're ready," said Egbert, who over the years has coached almost every in-state recruit to play at Nebraska in her club program. "They can thump the ball."
