Just curious if anyone has seen it yet, i think it looks pretty good, but would hate to waste my time if it is not worth it.

My son who's in the Air Force saw it this weekend. He said it was confusing and would have to watch it again to get all the nuances but he said it wasn't worth 3 more hours of his life to do. Hope that helps :)

I was kind of thinking it may be rental material.... i hate going to movies at the theater that end up sucking

I saw it and thought it was great, not up to expectations but still very good. I read a little stuff like on Wiki and other sources to get pre-hand knowledge of the movie.

The action was great, if you can stand Zach Synder's slow mo. I found the story interesting and intriguing. I have heard/read that it was too long but it was all entertaining and I agree. Some mention that the only good acting job in the movie was Roshcak (masked guy, also narrator) but to me that doesnt matter and to me all the actors played what they were supposed to be betrayed as (hot or mysterious or what ever)

As for the nudity I didnt really notice it, I may have been trying to avoid the d!(k because I knew it was coming (no pun intended) and it didnt bother me, so if you want to see it you can but it is easily enough avoidable. And to balance it out there are two sex scenes with Malin Akerman (Silk Spectre II) one with female nudity.

I wish I could compare it to something else but I cant think of any thing similar. I would definitley recomend it especially if you know what to expect.

But definetly dont take kids to it, I saw a few kids around the age of 10 with their parents and thought that it was too much for them. I might even see it again but that is only because I got in the first time for free and I am a nerd like that. I also thought I might read the graphic novel but that might be too much work

i thought it was just a horrible movie!

way too long and boring. yeah there were like 2 or 3 cool graphics....in 3 hours! looking around in the theater you could see people that fell asleep all over the place. coming out of the theater i did not hear a single positive thing about the movie, most people were expressing the same things i am. it took way too long to set this movie up, if they would have condensed it to two hours and included a little more action if would have been a good movie but they didnt and the movie suffered because of it.

three thumbs down.

did you read the graphic novel?

did you like 300?

i have yet to see it nor have read the novel, but I've heard good things about the movie so far. People misunderstood 300 too, though.

Zack Snyder said this was an incredibly hard movie to make because of how weird the original novel is.

i read parts of the novel and personally was not impressed. i would say if you read it and liked it you will like the movie, but if you havent read it at all i would say do not waste your money. myself and about 200 other people that walked out of that theater were not happy about wasting our money and you could hear other people complain about it everywhere!

and yes i liked 300 a lot...

I haven't seen it and doubt I get to see it before its out on cable. I did like 300 so I have high hopes for this.

I did see that it did fall short or their $70 million goal by opening at $55.2 million. It is expected to have a huge drop next weekend.

Maybe it was because of the age group that saw the movie, but I find it hard to sleep during it. And you are the first non-critic that I have heard say that it was actually bad. Most people who I talked to were younger than 20 but the three that were older still liked it so IDK how we are hearing complete opposite things
