Watson to Stay?

Looks like there is a chance Watson will stay on the staff.

I certainly hope so. He'll probably simplify the offense, make it more run-oriented (remember Colorado in 2001?), and he'll attack down the field more. Plus, it appears the team loves playing for the guy.

If he and Lucky stay, I'm thrilled for the prospects on offense next year.

A form of the spread was introduced for the CU game and it was pretty successful. I think if the offense were to change a bit, it would work well.

:yeah I think of anyone on this years coaching staff, he was the bright spot. He deserves to stay just for staying around and recruting when he doesn't have to.

i see no reason to make large changes this year. look at what ganz did with this offense. if i were the coach i would slowly start putting in the new offense, but i would mainly stick with what we had last year(but run the ball more)
