Yes, we won today, but there is no way we hang with Mizzou, Kansas, or OK St.

No way in hell.

Let's start playing the younger kids, because the vets (McKeon, Ruud, Green) are not doing the job.

 
I really didn't think we would learn about this team's character until Mizzou, BUT I WAS WRONG.

Its safe to assume that we will probably lose 4 or 5 MORE games this year because of our defense.

 
Just look for shoot-outs the rest of the year. If we get it in our mind that our defense will not be able to stop any team we might be able to enjoy the game and just watch our offense.

Now if our defense grows some balls and learns to play football we might be able to get excited about both sides of the ball during a game. However, I do not see this happening anytime soon.

 
If our defense could play just okay we would actually win a lot of games!!!!! They are going to be the death of us this year.

 
Not trying to stick up for the defense but the offense has put up big numbers against 2 crap teams and some junk numbers against USC and were held in check by WF. Unless the rest of the teams in conference play have D's like Nevada and BSU it is gonna be a long year.

 
This really shouldn't be a surprise. I was reminded how 'dumb' I am and how I should wait and see and stop ignoring the facts.

We honestly need to concentrate on making sure we put up 40+ pts and cross our fingers.

Dillard BTW, MANNED UP!!!! McKeon should never play again.

True, but you can't put up 40 every week. Not to mention we got lucky to win this week against Ball St. Ask Texas Tech and Hawaii what a lot of points and no defense should get us.
