6. Memorial Stadium (Nebraska football): Don’t be fooled by the fact that everyone is “nice” in Lincoln. They may greet opponents entering and leaving the field with polite applause, but they make things extremely difficult during the game. They don’t ever stop. Granted, I’ve only been there twice, but both times I watched those fans go bonkers helping so-so Nebraska teams. What was that place like in 1996?!

 
The guy is a Sparty fan. It probly helps us out that we beat Sparty in Memorial Stadium just last November. And I'll use that as an excuse to post this:

Nebraska fans like to believe that our fanbase is old and quiet and boring because they compare our McNeese State visiting kind of games to other school's Bama visiting kind of games.

I've talked with fans from Wisconsin, from OSU, from MSU, from Miami, from wherever that have come to games at Memorial and they all come away with not only praise for our hospitality but respect for how loud the stadium us. Are we LSU? No. But no one is.

For the 2011 OSU game, 20+ teammates of BP showed up to our tailgate before the game. They do class reunion at an away every year and picked Lincoln that year. They were conceited but not bad. They all thought Lincoln was fun but wouldn't hold up to the rest of the B1G for game experience.

After the game they came by again. They were in shock with how loud & electric the stadium had gotten. They just kept talking about what a great experience it was, even in losing. All of them said this is how college football should be, best away game experience ever, etc. Says a lot with the fan bases & stadiums in the B1G...
