Week 10 ESPN Bowl Projections...

I am a little disappointed if we end up playing Oregon State- but I would love to be in the Rose Bowl regardless.

Interesting match up. Oregon St. has been surprisingly good this year, so a matchup with them is something i would watch. But i would be glad to be in the Rose Bowl regardless.

Only way we will play Oregon State, is if they finish top 14 in the BCS ranking. Love the recognition of us being a BCS threat.

If they beat Stanford, and only lose to Oregon, I can see them sneaking in the Top 14.

I still find it hard to believe that the Rose Bowl committee would choose a two-loss Oregon St. squad over an undefeated Notre Dame or matchup with Oklahoma. You have to think that the $$$ would outweigh the Pac-12 allegiance.

Idk, the Pac10 and Big10 REALLY love that tradition. I think it outweighs money.

I really hope we get Oregon State because that is a winnable game.

If we somehow get stuck with Oregon, it will be... ummm, what is the word I am looking for here: The opposite of good.

I love the idea of Bama/Oregon and Kstate/ND...

I for one would love to play Oregon State. If you've had the chance to watch them play, they are a fun team to watch.

That would be a cool match-up, IMO.

I've seen Oregon St. play and they are a good squad. That being said, it would take away some luster if we were to win the Rose Bowl. If we played a mediocre Wisconsin in the B1G Championship and then a Oregon St. team most fans aren't familiar with, it wouldn't look AS GOOD. Don't get me wrong, I'll take it!

I would still like to see us get a shot at an undefeated Notre Dame squad or revenge our last Big XII game with Oklahoma.

Hmmm.....The Rose Bowl passed up USC vs UGA in 2007 for USC vs Illinois.

Take it to the bank. Oregon State if they are available.
You probably have more knowledge of me than the Big Ten and the Rose Bowl committee.

Still, passing up a Georgia team that had two losses in their own division is a little different than passing on an undefeated Notre Dame.

Key word. I think they have a chance, but doubtful. Rose Bowl has their rules, and if the Pac 10 has another member in the Top 14 BCS rankings, they will be second pick if they have their top going to a BCS Championship Game. These chances are slim to have 2 in the top 14, but you never know how they will work the polls.

AT&T Cotton: (Big 12 vs. SEC) Texas vs. Texas A&M
Another reason I think the Rose Bowl will eschew Oregon State for Oklahoma (provided Oregon wins out). No way the Rose Bowl wants to be shown up by the Cotton...and to hear some of the die-hard B1G/Pac-12 fans talk about it, the Rose Bowl tradition is already in the toilet if Nebraska makes it there.

And let's be honest, no one wants to see an Oregon State/Nebraska matchup, assuming Oregon State is still available. Oklahoma/Nebraska would get everyone's attention, and certainly just as much, if not more, eyeballs and butts in front of TVs than a Texass/aTm grudge match.

I would still like to see us get a shot at an undefeated Notre Dame squad or revenge our last Big XII game with Oklahoma.
Agreed. And more importantly, more of America likely would as well. :)
