EDIT - the AP adjusted their poll, since a ballot was counted in error. That dropped Nebraska to #11. So it goes.

every year I tell myself "this is the year" a las I'm always let down. I would love to see us take down Wisky but from what I've seen we have not made enough progress from last year. Normaly I'm the biggest koolaid drinker there is, even supporting Watson to the very last stand. This teams play this year just doesn't justify the kansas husker cool aid.

 
I'd rather have us be ranked where we are playing the way we are playing the way we are, then have one good game only to fall flat against a team we should have beaten. I am a firm believer that we will improve from this week to next and will be ready to go for the Wisconsin game. Wait and see.

We are on the same wavelength buddy. I do have to admit, the offensive line looked absolutely atrocious for a lot of the time yesterday, and I don't know that I trust Barney Cotton to clean up that garbage. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

i'd rather talk about fsu, what is that.

and i hate this argument so much, because it is so tired, but why don't we deserve to be ranked tenth? who does. there are 5-6 teams in a league of their own (and i think wiscy is in there), but after that, it is a huge drop off of a muddled mess. we may deserve tenth no more than anyone, but at the same time, no less.

edit: i bet a lot of people felt about us as i feel about fsu last year, and probably this year.

Yawwwwwn...more Nebraska fans over reacting because of our firs two games. Why don't you wait until we get into conference play or see how we play against Washington before you automatically assume were not a top 10 team. Why would you assume the worst? And Carlfense allll your post have the same theme, pessimism. No, I didn't say realism because to be realistic it would require you to see several more games before you say that were not a top shelf team.
