There are no Big10 schools in Chicago. Northwestern is the closest, but they are in Evanston. And I didn't know ASU overtook. And out of all the places I've lived in (16 different states) Columbus, is in my top 3.I believe that is Chicago and ASU (recently overtook OSU).:boxosoapWhy would we be excited about going to the home of the Platte county courthouse?FixedI'm really looking forward to Neb hitting Columbia Columbus, Ann Arbor, Madison, etc. It is a very exciting time.![]()
It's only home to the largest city in the Big10 as well as the largest school in the US. :madash :steam
Still, Columbus is an interesting city, especially if you like beer (we have an awesome historic German town). It has modern businesses, it's very clean, and has a vibrant art/cultural scene and good (I admit, not great) restaurants. Columbus has become, as Cleveland industry declined and modern Columbus grew, the largest city in Ohio.
There are bad fans everywhere though. People tend to hate on the fans of better programs more because nobody cares about bad fans from poor programs too much to actually make them angry or jealous. Did anyone really resent Texas fans so fiercely until this decade? No.
