I'd just like to welcome the Huskers to the Big 10.

A buddy of mine and I used to go back and forth about Nebraska and Ohio State. It would have been much more fun had we been in the same conference.

You guys should fit right in since you were the only Big 12 team who always played good defense.

I will caution you on your first trip to Wisconsin.. the folk there are most certainly less than friendly to visiting teams.

I believe you'll find a more repectful group of fans in the rest of the conference.

For right now, we have to take their word. The deadline is something around the 16th so we'll find out by then.

Regarding the impact on our season, I don't think it will have too much. Obviously they can still play on practive squads and against our 1st string defense, so staying into it won't be as hard.

Our defense has 0 suspensions, so just like 2002, we can depend on the defense to carry us through the suspensions.

Honestly, it's tough to say. We'll have to see how players develop during the spring to see if we have a replacement for Heyward. Our RB corp will still be solid even without Herron there. And we still have Stoneburner as WR

We've got Braxton Miller coming in in time for spring ball. I watched him in the All American game. He's not as big or fast as Pryor, but he's quicker and more ellusive with a quick release and a deadly accurate rocket for an arm. That's if he beats out Guiton. Guiton is another dual threat qback with a year of backing up Pryor and Bauserman, but he really needs a little work.

The Running Backs behind Herron are better than Boom in my opinion.

The defense should be fine.. always is.

What time frame are we talking here? Typically, OU has a pretty good defense. Most of the time Texas has a good defense. It wasn't very long ago that we had one of the worst defenses in division one football.

What time frame are we talking here? Typically, OU has a pretty good defense. Most of the time Texas has a good defense. It wasn't very long ago that we had one of the worst defenses in division one football.

I've never been impressed with OUs defense and Texas was good for a couple of years, but aside from a couple of down years, I've always liked watching the Blackshirts play. In the Big Ten we value tradition.. shoot we even let Michigan keep playing inspite of the Rich-Rod years.
