Westy injury

It wouldn't surprise me with how he reacted to that hit. That was instant pain and worry when he reacted. I hope it's not true though............

There's quite a bit of range we could be looking at. Without knowing the severity, it looks like he could be back for Indiana or be out for the season.

In the lower back there is a triangular bone, it moves within the pelvis. Callled the SI joint. It is ungodly painful when it is out of place, My son did it once when he crashed at a SuperCross, and about two years ago I knocked mine out bowling. Pain is nearly unbearable until it is popped back in. It effects all the nerves to the legs and even into the stomach area. Absolutely miserable. the worst problem with it though, is that is never stays in place after that. Can be knocked/twisted out. He appeared to be in the same pain I went through. Hope everything is fine for Westy. Good kid and we really need him.

Wish him and the other dinged up huskers well. Feels like every year our favorite Husker, or important player, gets dinged up his senior year

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Jordan pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

But seriously, had he fractured one of his vertebrae, more than likely the hospital would have kept him overnight. Whatever he did, It's a good sign he was released fairly quickly same day. He may still be on the sidelines for quite a while. Hope he's back to form soon.
