The Huskers have officially lost it.

Bo Pelini won't be here next year.

Wouldn't it be funny if Tommy Armstrong was the fresh blood and pride-salvaging cover to get Nebraska to the CCG? Another 10 - 4 season, maybe even 11 - 3, with a bowl win? What if this was the turnaround point? Would we look back at the posts this past week and laugh?

I saw a guy I know who played for the Huskers back in the 70's on my lunch walk in downtown Portland, OR today. We talked about current Husker events. He wasn't laughing.

 
Unfortunately I think the wheels have been set in motion. I think the staff has reached a point of no return, and the players are starting to doubt their leadership. 3 wins from now, the mentality can change a lot, but I think its a long shot.

Does anyone remember back in elementary and middle school when the teachers would say to stop asking "what if" questions because there is an infinite number of what if situations?

 
Guy hittin the pregame night before chronic. Far out man.

As much as I hope things turnaround, I will never laugh about much of what I've witnessed on the field so far this year.

Have you been hanging out with Carl? I hear he had some good s**t.

Seriously though, it's possible we turn things around. Unlikely but possible. But this level of ineptitude will never be seen even in hindsight as funny.

 
Off course its possible. The rough November slate isnt that freaking scary. If we hadnt lost to Minnysoda we would all be talkng about our potential 11-1 regular season. Now winning out is a harder concept, but not impossible. Lets see how it pans out but yeah we probably drop another game, finish 9-3 and get another rough SEC tilt in the Outback bowl. Would a 10-3 season with a bowl win over the SEC save Bo?

 
I truely see this happening. With Tommy at QB the Defence plays more inspired and the office doesnt get out of rythem.GBR we finish 12-2 with Rose Bowl victory. I'm going to Michigan game can't wait to see the Sea of Red invade Ann Arbor and hand Brady Hoke his first home loss.
