Enough of the talk of us having 1 or 2 tough games then. It just seemed that way because we were usually so damn good and crushed the mediocre teams that we now struggle with.

Wilbon in the mix too I would think.
I think I learned that despite our national ranking of 12th in scoring offense and 40 ppg, Tim Beck still hand ties us by at least 2 scores a game I would think. Other than the offensive line I think we have plenty of talent to be better than we are.
Defense gets better as the year goes on, just like every year under Bo.

I think the willingness to disparage the work of some college legends in order to prop up the current coach and hide his shortcomings is perhaps the most depressing part of all of this.

How am I propping up the current coach? I made a statement referring to how bad (well not bad, but just meaning that it wasn't as difficult as some say) the big 8 was as compared to some peoples memory. Why do you do that? Put words in others mouth...
Also I would like to know...is it the HC that you hate? Or just assistants? If Bo made changes to the staff would that satisfy your hatred?

Bo is not Tom. Can we stop this, please? I am so sick of Bo Pelini being compared to Tom Osborne. It is so unfair to Bo and so disrespectful to Tom. If you really believe that Bo Pelini is at the same level as Tom Osborne I think you might want to call your therapist, as I am sure you have to have one. That is lunacy. Any of you claiming this, I would like to ask you something.
Have you ever really thought about what you are saying? I mean legitimately sat and pondered what you were defending here. That Pelini=Osborne? That is so beyond the rationale of a reasonable person I don't know what to tell you. It is a fallacy and a straw man argument used to defend those that are calling for Bo's head. Stop using the Bo has it harder than TO argument, it makes you sound dumb.
Conversely, why does Bo have to be Tom for us to get behind him? Why can't we just root for this team to win without calling for coach's heads in the middle of one of, if not the, best seasons we have had in a decade? What is so damn wrong with waiting for the end of the year to come before we are wishing for replacements at key coaching positions?
It is so exhausting in this damn Fox News/MSNBC era we live in to have a conversation with anyone. You can have an opinion in the middle, you don't have to jump to one of two sides. Level headed people are needed here, and you don't have to be the HuskerBoard "voice of reason" all the damn time. Especially when you often come across as pig headed and on a mission to prove your agenda is the one and only correct way of thinking. That type of Marxist vendetta is, quite frankly, frightening.

I don't have time to make gifs of him yelling at people after he fu#*$ up. Each and everyone would defeat your argument. Post game statements to the media are very different from what someone really believes -- "player speak" if you will (like "coach speak").
I will acknowledge that after he has time to reflect (and likely had the help of a coach or other player in his ear) that he does seem to accept some culpability. Reality is hard to ignore. However, a large part of it is (in my opinion) because he views himself as the leader of the offensive and should accept responsibility for all its players (irrespective of any personal blame), and because he believes even if a player messes up, he should be able to adjust to the error and make the best play. The problem is he doesn't seem to accept that he too makes mistakes, and always seems to find someone to yells at (after he messes up).
