What did we learn? - Iowa

We truly learned how out of touch Riley was in the post game presser by saying he believed he was right for the job and the mistakes were fixable.

If they were so fixable, why weren't they fixed?

There was a stretch in the second half which just summed up the whole Riley era. Play clock winding down on 4th and 1. Call time out. Come out of time out, false start. Riley opens a stick of gum. Go for it on 4th and 6, with a short underneath crossing route of about 4 yards. Turnover on downs. Iowa with a big play on the next play.

We were a furious, fourth-quarter comeback against Purdue away from losing our last seven games.

Dang.  Thought we were going to break the streak.

Five of the last seven weeks the B1G Offensive Player of the week played against Nebraska.

We are the 20th team in the HISTORY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL to allow 54 points in three straight games.

First time in nearly 40 years that we did not have a cornerback get an INT.

Last in the country in sacks.  Second-to-last in tackles for loss.  Second-to-last in fumble recoveries.
