What Did We Learn? - PSU Edition

- That you can't block six yards behind the ball-carrier on a guy chasing him

- That we can play into the wind for basically the entire second half

- That my wife remembers that Penn St.'s kicker missed four field goals in a game a couple years ago and called him missing the kick in OT

That there are people in this fan base who cannot simply enjoy a win, enjoy being a Husker fan, and enjoy watching the players we have without some kind of senseless and possibly baseless agenda.

after saying that our special teams sucked last week...i owe them grats on playing well today (well.....punt return strategy still baffles me...but nice KO TD and OT FG)

Ficken still struggles with big kicks.

We can still win despite refs.

Bo coaches teams to win, even with all kinds of injuries everywhere.

RK3 and TA were being shuffled for a reason. Each one is good, but not great. They need each other.

Agreed. But we probably already knew that.

That when the pressure is on, even if we put it on ourselves sometimes, we are tough mentally. We do not back down and you can never count us out. Our o-line is decimated and our backups have played very well. And I have no idea what play Beck will call when it looks like an obvious run play or pass play.

Bo is YOLO!!!!

Michael Bruntz @MichaelBruntz 9m

Tim Beck on the 3rd and 14 call to throw a deep ball from NU's one -- "Bo said, 'how do you feel about chucking one?'"

That I was out of line calling our players pansies. They fought hard and earned the win. Very proud.

That Penn State is not above cranking up their audio system to add stadium noise during the play while our offense is on the field. Utter lack of class and sportsmanship.

That the Huskers will make games exciting. Not many games will be decided until late in the 4th.

NU can return a kickoff for a TD.

AA does have top end speed.

Beebe refs games for the BIG in late November for Christmas money.

That this team stopped giving up at the Northwestern game and that's nice to see.

That PSU's kicker sucks when the pressure is put on him.

That the refs will try to screw us when they can, that call was frigging HORRIBLE.

That our receivers are hot and cold and it's become annoying.

That our team is going to try and get on the field in wheel chairs if they can to finish the season, god we're banged up.
