We all saw a lot more out of Taylor Martinez and the offense than we were probably even hoping for. This is a very good sign. If the opponent has to respect his ability to throw (forget about that 70% crap) then they can't stck 8 in the box. If this keeps up we will move the ball on anyone.
Defense is another thing entirely. They were very average at best. There was a huge number of missed tackles. This needs to change or the team is going to be average. I think it will turn around but this game was very disappointing on that side of the ball.
Bottom line is if the D plays like they are capable and the offense continues, the Huskers are going to be TUFF!
