What Husker coach has the best win percent?

What did I miss in 03 that all of you have this love affair for this guy???

All I remember was a decent defense that ended up getting pounded in Missouri and at home by KSU

UH YEA SO DOES THAT MEAN HE CAN RECRUIT AND IS READY TO BE A HEAD COACH !!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see. Bo Pelini is the defensive coordinator for LSU. LSU has perhaps the best assemblage of talent outside of USC. LSU's defense is perennially one of the top defenses in the country.

Gee, I wonder if Pelini is qualified?

MCAT - Bob Stoops was in the same boat as Pelini before he got his break at OU. You think the Sooners are happy they "rolled the dice"?

It's ok, because everyone around the country is now getting well versed at talking smack against NU. There are definitely parallels that can be drawn with Pelini and Stoops. Stoops had a #1 D at KState. After NU stomped Florida, Spurrier came a calling. Stoops built him a D and a NC. Pelini walked into NU and built a #11 D. He went and was co D coordinator at OU. Then went on to LSU to build a top D. I think he's more prepared now to be our HC than he was 4 years ago. I think he's definitely worth rolling the dice on.

He sure was good at talking big time smack against NU when he was at OU....
I thought all he said was that they players were more talented. But, yeah, he should have been more respectful to the program that brought him in to do a job that he did admirably and then immediately canned him. ;)

Perennially one of the top defenses in the country you say.

Pelini has been at LSU for TWO YEARS, perennially and Two years don't quite fit together.

Did we just not spend the last four years "rolling the dice"

I'm not excited about another experiement, Bo as DC sure, Bo has HC, well if it happens then it happens.
