What NFL team is most similar to Nebraska?

I'm a Steelers fan, and always thought there were a lot of similarities. Consistently good defense, stable coaching, insane fan support.

 
If just by current teams on the field, the Jets:

- Best defense in NFL

- Anemic offense with question mark at QB

- Solid running backs

- High profile CB

But the franchise as a whole, obviously not.

 
Our fans resemble Cheese heads (Green Bay)

This season I'd say we were the Cardinals..overpowering D with a questionable QB& Offense

Any of you black jersey mongers see last night's Cards in their new black tops? (Better than I expected).

 
Packers have a great program built around a "every fan matters" philosophy, and Green Bay is a lot like Lincoln, very friendly, tight-knit community.

 
I would say the Green Bay fanbase reminds me most of Nebraska. As a program, that's the one I would say matches up the most; not really about current performance or status of the team's roster.

 
I gotta throw this in their, but after watching my Chiefs hold off the chargers tonight, i think the Chiefs most resemble the 09 Huskers. Good defense the bent backwards but didnt break, got a lead with points from all parts of the game, then a very conservative, mistake free offense to hold on. Plus, Arrowhead was totally electric tonight. This game was so similar the 09 Oklahoma game in my mind.
