Depending on who gets the ball first but If Nebraska can receive first and gain some momentum early and establish the run and gain a few chunk plays in the 1st quarter I like our odds of running away with this one early.

I went 3-0 Nebraska - I think we get a field goal, Walters is a good DC and I could see him tripping us up. Wouldn't be shocked if we don't score on the first drive, but Frost seems good at first drives when we don't throw a late lateral across the field. Also wouldn't shock me if they score, there's a lot of film on our defense and a new wrinkle can work for a drive.

as long as we don't a stupid false start once we get in the redzone which seems to happen a lot, Nebraska will score on its 1st drive.  Coach Frost scripts the 1st drive pretty well.  it's the rest of the game that concerns me.

where's the 14-0 option for nebraska? thought i saw a tweet about the defense getting some turnovers against the offense.

what we need to over come.  fumbles, gadget plays, stupid penalties, bad clock management.  thats a lot.

I'm a little more interested in the final score... :dunno

Where is the 14-0 option? We score on our opening drive and then have a pick six on their first drive. It could happen…

Oops, I see @desertshox beat me to it.

I could swear that almost every time Nebraska starts fast and looks sharp, the other team adjusts and the Huskers flatten out.

Not concerned about a fast start at all.

10-0. I’m not kidding. One FG to open then a pick 6.

not sure why I’m so high on this team. Hopeful- maybe. We will find out soon.

It’s true. Multiple examples going back to Pelini era (Oklahoma 09, I think),

but Colorado 2019 was so painful.

Colorado 2019 was horrible first quarter, awesome second quarter, neutral third quarter, and meltdown fourth quarter, right?

21-0 at half.
I think that OU game was in 2010 and we were 10-0 after one. Extra painful because they were former B8 foes.

When good things hurt :bang
