Whats going on with COS and CALLY?

I'm tryin to figure out whats up with them? Pederson is the first step :w00t , but what about them? I heard Cos is gone and Cally is after the texas game possibly, then i heard both are gone after the texas game, and then i've heard that at the end of the season they are and now i'm hearing they are here to stay? Anyone have any info they can shead on this subject? :restore

I can't comment on what is fact or rumor...but I don't see either leaving (or at least Cally) until after a new AD is decided. I'm going to guess they'll leave the decision of what to do with the coaching position up to the athletic director. However, I would most likely bet that any AD that comes in is going to fire Callahan or ask him to step down. Because a new AD alone is not going to turn the football program around unless staff changes are made.

If we follow what HP said then there will not be any coaching changes made by him. So it will be at least a period of time until a new Interim AD can be hired, who would then review the program and make some changes if they saw necessary.

Seems that if you fire Pederson for "lack of progress with the football program", you won't keep the guys responsible for football operations. Harvey may want the interim AD to decide the timing.

I think the only obvious thing to do is get rid of a few assistants and finish the year with a slimmer coaching staff and then make changes from there. We all know that if a new AD comes in Cally is gone. :thumbs
