When will Nebraska Compete again for a NC?

I doubt NU will ever compete for a national title under Callahan. His coaching is not at the level of coaches who lead their teams to national titles. He needs to work on his play calling and make it less conservative. Also he hasn't shown the ability to make adjustments at the half and thats why we sucked in the 2nd half last year. But if somehow Callahan figures out how to coach better then I think that we could have a shot in the next few years.

I was sorta thinking that at 1st, just didn't want to upset the sunshine crowd.

In some ways, I think THIS season will be Cally's best shot at a MNC if Keller get's the starting nod.

I'm still not sure we have the Defensive depth or even the Defensive Coaches to get us over the hump (3rd Quarter letdowns).

I'm not sure our Fanbase would be patient enough to allow another coaching staff to just "get close" or learn on the job for a decade before winning it all.

But it's true..there's so much luck involved..Anything can happen..That's why it's so great to be a college football fan..'Specially a Husker.
